D3 / Belimbing – Licin – 150 Km – 5h ride + 1h ferry

Tonight we sleep on the island of Java! A magnificent road leads us to the north coast of Bali for about 50 km. We then follow the sea to reach Gilimanuk where the ferry to Java awaits us.

D4 / Licin – Jember – 130 Km – 5h ride

We leave this morning at sunrise to reach Paltuding, at nearly 2000m, and begin the walk that leads to the top of Mount Ijen. At the edge of the crater, the first rays of the sun reveal the largest acidic lake in the world. Then we leave for Jember through small roads with little traffic.

D5 / Jember – Cemoro Lawang – 140 Km – 4h ride

We are still moving towards the West and taking the measure of Java, where the cultural differences with Bali are very marked. We arrive at the stage for lunch, a stone’s throw from the immense caldera of the Bromo volcano, which we will explore in the afternoon.

D6 / Cemoro Lawang – Ambulu – 180 Km – 7h ride

At daybreak, departure towards a breathtaking viewpoint on the volcanoes of Bromo-Tengger-Semeru National Park for the sunrise. We then descend into the volcanic sand caldera that we cross from north to south, dominated by the smoking cone of Bromo. These few kilometers, in lunar landscapes of an incredible beauty, will remain engraved in the memories!

D7 / Ambulu – Sukamade – 170 Km – 5h ride

It is a very beautiful and long day that awaits us, completely off the beaten track, on the small roads surrounding the Meru Betiri National Park. About ten kilometers from our evening stage, we swap our motorcycles for a 4×4 vehicle. At nightfall, excursion on a wild beach to try to observe immense sea turtles which come to lay here all year round.

D8 / Sukamade – Pemuteran – 150 Km – 5h ride + 1h ferry

This morning, early risers can return to the beach to release the little turtles born the day before. Return by 4×4 through the primary jungle. Once again in the saddle on small country roads towards the big coastal town of Banyuwangi, where we find heavy traffic before taking the ferry back to the island of Bali.

D9 / Pemuteran – Menjangan Island

Today, we leave our mounts for a well-deserved day of rest. In the morning, you can reach the island of Menjangan, a protected area with exceptional seabed and coral reefs! Organized diving or snorkeling session with masks and snorkels, the choice is yours!

D10 / Pemuteran – Amed – 210 Km – 6h ride

A very beautiful motorbike stage takes us to discover the riches and volcanoes of the heart of Bali. We follow the coast due east for about 40 kilometers before branching off to the south towards the reliefs of the center of the island. In the middle of the tropical jungle, we suddenly see Mount Batur, in front of which we have lunch. Finally we descend to the small coastal village of Amed, in the south-east of the island.
